Vermont has a very short growing season, so summers are precious. We plant a huge flower garden and vegetable garden, which we paint from all summer.  Most of flowers in our paintings come from our gardens.  We also paint a huge amount of wildflowers (my favorite weeds). All of our paintings are from life, which demands fast execution and good drawing skills.
